Thread regarding Alliance Data Systems Corp. layoffs

Does anybody know?

Have any work at home Care and Collections associates been laid off? Did they bring each person into the office to notify or were some notifications done via remote meetings?

This was asked by @11DJJVpS-mwrv in another thread, but I was hoping that putting it on top might land us an answer.

In the last Ed tour Ed mentioned to us that the company was always looking for new companies that were on a growth curve and warned that they would shed divisions that they felt were no longer on a growth trajectory. I liked Ed because I feel he was open, honest and really cared about employees. That being said I feel he was telegraphing the things that are happening now. Wouldn't be surprised if ADS wasn't being prepared to be sold off. I will miss ADS when the time comes to leave really enjoyed my associates and most of my managers. Sad to see this happening to so many good people.

They did not bring anyone into the office is my understanding, They called a meeting an hour before they terminated the employees. Yes, it was termination, not a layoff. Those jobs are gone, shipped overseas. You most likely won't need to go in when they terminate again if you work from home. They will call a meeting. Maybe it will be a mass meeting like before. I suspect they will have supervisors fire each person individually for the next round. Keep you on your toes mentality.
