Joe, to answer your question, the Transcend team uses TD products to build TD environments across different platforms and then develop and deliver the analytics that are used by the TD business teams to run the company. In the process we are introducing some analytics engineering best practices. We’re also aligning with the TD product teams and the new train release process to provide feedback to them about the upgrade experience, performance of their products, etc. We’re basically live and breathe the TD value proposition. Also, we’re not limited to Seattle. We have a significant presence in RB and are distributed across the country.
I would advise you to go get a job at AWS, for one they actually know what the he ll they are doing , second , no drama, and three it freaking Amazon

10% reduction names already on the chopping block are getting company. An additional 20% was just established.

They should have fired VL and OR long time ago. All the "Think Big" experiments have ruined the company. The Teradata Board is useless and they have been watching this spectacle for a long time but then the board has all the clowns that VL put in to protect him. The company has been going in wrong direction for a long time now. All the experiments have been disastrous and we have lost half of the good talent in past three years in the so called layoffs. Now what we have left is the clown show from VL and others. Too many VP's in the company who have no clue on how to sell or no clue on the underlying technology. These guys should be taken outside the building and be given a nice whipping.
OR was the worst CEO in the companies history. First of all he didn't have the qualification to be a VP let alone the CEO. He has handpicked by VL to protect himself. VL knew this day would come when the stock would be cut down into half and he wanted someone to take the blame. Watch the after hours trading, the stock is heading to teens when the markets open today. The management including GH, SS and others in Professional services have been running the company with incompetent folks. First of all they should have been let go long time ago. But then in Teradata it is not your qualification and experience that matters, it is who you know at the top. So the top guys who are id–ts keep hiring more id–ts and now we are here. Find a new job in a real company... this ship is sinking fast. If the company offers package I say take it and run.
