Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Do the cleanup in one go

Instead of firing n letting go of people with knowledge and commitment like has been done in past 2-3 years.

For once let go of army of useless manager layers who are in company adding 0 value n r kept to forward emails.

IC, BC, SE, Deal desk, renewal desk ... can keep counting managers, VPs ... they have infested the company.

Have brought in culture of rewarding a– lickers over people who deliver

it’s really sad state of affairs as company is letting go of people who are well respected and add lot of value. On other hand people warming chairs r still being retained.

Keep anyone who are adding value. Not the ones here to manage people with 0 value addition. N the layers mentioned have the highest ratio of useless people.

You get rid of ic, BC and SE and you are essentially getting rid of the smarts inside the company. A lot of these show leadership potential down the track but don't think s—ing arse is the way to get to the top

So, your suggestion would be to get rid of ICs, BCs, SEs, Deal desk, renewal desk etc as well as several layers of management.

What part of it is a failing company do you not understand? There is no future. The stock is now trading at a price not seen in 2.5 years. You can't clean up this mess
