As expected Rick Hill tweaks the leadership and makes his hand picked man CEO . The clown becomes the king! Good luck CBU folks - Starboard is going to screwup whatever is left of Symantec , sell it off make billions out of millions and walk away.
FYI : Enterprise business actually grew the business in Q2 compared to CBU and yet they sell it off .

Things are going great so far. NLOK found it's stride.
There's nothing about running NLOK into the ground. Rick took care of Enterprise, now Vincent will polish up NLOK and make it nice and shiny before it's getting sold to investors or maybe even some competitor.
I hate it say it and I sincerely hope it doesn’t happen, but I think Vincent is going to run NLOK into the ground. When all is said and done, Lifelock may be the only part of NLOK left standing.
Vincent is in way over his head. Anybody can come into an organization and reduce headcount. You don’t need to give someone almost a million shares of stock to do that.
While the fate of the enterprise business that moved to Broadcom is still to be determined, Broadcom’s CEO Hock Tan knows a lot more about running a business than Vincent. Hock keeps a lid on costs, but understands that some level of investment is required to remain competitive.
Just remember, you are all sales persons for NLOK. What a tool.
They basically need to cut almost one years revenue from now the CBU. That's pretty massive. Of course people will be in that equation big time.
Haha.. my director at Norton was boasting last month how consumer won't face layoffs, while I joined a more stable company
I would love to see his face when layoffs starts at consumer.
Just about everyone who remains knows what’s coming. They’ll sh–can a large number of the remaining Norton folks in particular. Then the decisions of the past few years will eventually come home to roost.
There was an article published on LinkedIn today that said Pilette indicated the consumer unit needed to eliminate #1.3B in costs. If one thought the consumer side was a safe place to be, Pilette's words if true would throw cold water on that notion.
