It must be bad enough looking forward that EL is bagging up the company and lowering it into the water for a slow death. I don't see how either company can make any long term improvement with this. Cost improvements only last so long.

No more raises either. As people are sent to the unemployment line or quit, everyone else gets assigned their work. The management hierarchy will be flattened. Middle management will suffer the most.

As I Xerox employee, I can assure you of 2 things. You will spend the out of pocket maximum on health care each year. So save the max in your HSA. Your 401k is going to take a big hit. 3 percent given the year following the current. If you lose your job for any reason before year end you get nothing.
