Unfortunately never safe at the company. From what I have heard from the layoffs in Tax Pro's so far, they were driven by segment heads, don't think there was an organizational mandate to reduce headcount. I wouldn't think that anyone is out of the woods yet.
I haven't heard of any layoffs in our area. Does that mean it is all done and we're safe for this year?
Question for dude: what do you mean by remote knowledge solutions? Was Hoboken hit?
How close are we to the 3,200 number?
There was csm layoffs in tax pros in Carrollton, and remote knowledge solutions got the axe. All in early December
I wonder if the people who are laid off also got a new computer or are scheduled to. It seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through if they are being terminated anyway.
They will most likely come from your boss, but HR will be on the phone or in the room. Boss typically starts out the conversation then HR takes over with the specifics. Good luck all.
Do the meeting invites come from HR or your boss? My boss is in a different state. Will he just call me?
I haven't heard of anybody being let go in my area but you never know.
Also, it will go into December? I thought it was usually just November.
It will be now until December, watch out for those meeting invites, typically on Tuesdays.
