Its funny when we first heard like so many other posters have commented here it was going to be a good thing for the people at the former ACS division. Faster, Smarter, Better... All the stupid rules are out the door. Hmmmmm haven't heard that in a while. We all breathed a little when we heard RF was going to be driving. All with the hope of things going back to being profitable and fun to come to work. Well I ask the question where is RF now? I love that a year later the direct VPGM of Products decides that on Halloween that her and the folks in marketing were going to boost moral by parading through the building in costume and giving cookies out. The the next day a BBQ, WOW!!! Now don't get me wrong it was a nice gesture but also is having a Job and products that people want. To those exec that might read this STOP with the BS and listen really listen to your legacy staff at least the ones that haven't left. You'll be surprised at the things we see.

3kjq - Agree. Was the Lyric gateway AKA the DAS? Speaking of colossal failures. Many of us think Lumina will be an absolute nothing ( project name should have been mouse fart in windstorm) but buoy will take colossal failure to a new level. Right from the M&A phase that was a disaster. Now its being re engineered at twice the cost and the water lady couldn't balance a checkbook much less a project like this. She can, however, post on slack and rip into people like its nobody's business...lol. Are we proud of buoy yet? (inside joke).
I thought it was supposed to be released on Thursday...lol. Hoe fitting the same day we further announced results that were in the toilet. Is this like the 27th date that was pushed out? I think January is the new date.
Just look at the now dead Lyric Gateway. All of us that have been in this industry a long time knew it would fail as soon as we saw it. And we were right. The people driving new products no nothing about our business. Waste.

You’re right everyone focuses on the those incompetent VPs but the people doing the real damage are those newly minted or promoted managers, directors or Sr directors... they can’t execute but are good at selling themselves at the expense of others ... and ...brought in products that can’t get any traction.... did we people think that if you take incompetent people they would bring in good products??? Doesn’t make sense...meanwhile the board and others are wondering why they can’t get anything out in term of ... anything. Duh!

Apple and Google and Facebook and so forth doesn’t mean they can execute...
We had good people just before the spin but the current management of s— ups (directors, managers and VPs) saw them as a threat to their newly found fortunes and stock and either pushed them out or created such a hostile environment they left.
You can bring whoever as long as those guys undermine everything, it will just sink.
And... off course those brought people at their image... so it keeps going in circles
Let’s think a bit... this is not about disgruntled or high and happy through chemicals...
So.... if you take the middle management layer (directors and managers) and you can’t execute.... do you think that changing the Uber VP will automatically change everything if that middle layer stays???? The middle layers need to be out. Until that changes it can’t improve.... we can blame HON as much as we want but after more than a year that’s not them that’s us!
So let’s get rid of all those “directors” that clearly are just helping each other to cover up their incompetence in order to get more promos and $ and let’s send them send packing! We all know who those people are in Austin, Melville or Rolle

That said fear not a bunch of mighty architects and developers under Rsi management and gamer management have been working hard in Austin for the past few weeks ... they are close to find a new way to do things that should take many months in a very agile way with no planning at which point they’ll point out to yet a new way to do things.. with anew deadline. all the while counting their stock and enjoying new promos.
Not Disgruntled just Extremely Frustrated that the Company I work for and loyal to is failing and it the worst i have ever seen. So there is absolutely nothing wrong with a little fun with your co-workers. But when things are not in order product wise which allows us to have fun and customers are seeking products else where, Oh and our stock price falls. All that fun is going to come at a price. Even though we have spun off and there have been some really great things that have come from it a year has gone by we still act and are directed as if we are still Honeywell. Just look at your health care, or the no overtime policy, or maybe the RIF that happened in June. I as a long time employee have worked and seen some awesome things, worked with awesome people. Things need to be released then we can celerbrate.
