Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

Midland and San Antonio Gone!

From visual materials distributed and broadcast during CEO announcements the only clear thing is that Houston is the center of the Apache universe and will remain so.

Midland non-execution operations are gone. San Antonio non-execution operations are gone (which means the whole office in this case)

A culture of short work days, flexible lunch hours, and minimal accountability have lead to the destruction of Apache. High pay with no results and no accountability have cost real jobs and destroyed retirements. Thanks CEO, thanks VP's (too many to count).

Make Apache Great Again

Word on the street is that San Antonio may be history. Operations and any departments that report through Operations will be moving to Midland, except those positions that are duplicative. We know what happens to those. Personnel in the other two Pillars will probably be going to Houston, with some going to Midland. I think the center of the Universe for Operations will be Midland.

OP: Blaming flexible lunch hours is pretty absurd. It's Alpine that sank the company. It's literally just Alpine.

Albert: Congratulations on your interview and I hope you can bolt. I'm applying elsewhere too.

That’s true Apache has gone bad sometimes it’s not A good idea to be loyal to a company been with apache 12 years and always put a head people with very small experience Or really rude people as a boss glad I have a interview next week with another company
