Thread regarding General Atomics layoffs

Giving up on knowledge easily

I'm not surprised that there is little mention of layoffs at General Atomics. I mean who could afford layoffs with such a big number of people leaving on their own. I believe any company would find such a high turnover rate a problem, but for a company that claims to be based on knowledge and innovation, giving up on knowledge and talent that easily could prove to be catastrophic. It’s hard to believe that the leadership isn’t familiar with the numbers of the people that are leaving, so I keep on wondering are they clueless to that point where they believe that those people could easily be replaced, or do they simply don’t care.
