Sounds like Dion might have made a good decision.
Employees are either in denial or too intimidated to ask tough questions. Especially when the executive leadership team acts like the sky is clear blue and the birds are chirping.
A lot of people are going to go down hard and very soon after the EER is done.
Nobody openly asked about the layoffs?
Sure they took questions. They were all feel good horse sh– kind. God, I miss Mark Hurd.
Did they take any questions about it?
Well that's good!
They didn't hint. The pretended like nothing happened. We did get a good dose of out-of-place, cringy rock music, forced audience applause, and fake smiles from the executives. All is well on the sinking ship, apparently.
Was anythign exciting announced?
That would explain some of the real estate actions of late.
I suspect there will be no hints. This management team holds their cards pretty close to the vest. They do not want to create panic or a mass exodus until current businesses transfer the knowledge base to their cheaper counterparts.
But to address the shutdown question; most or all US print sites will be transferred to other countries by end of 2022. Enrique is currently on a US HP your stating otherwise, but I would not bet any money on it.
Think they will hint?
