Our outlook would also look rosy with multi-million dollar salaries.

Cut the dividend to 1 cent. Sold just about everything that isn't, and is, nailed down. Laid off thousands. Froze the Pension. Dragging the Alstom anchor. Good help is leaving in droves for greener grass. The debt is astronomically high.

Hey Larry, these rose colored glasses you've handed me just ain't strong enough.

This is very bad news. After Q2, I thought sure results were a bit better than expected, sure free cash flow was up but Culp said not to extrapolate that forward. I mean it was just one quarter right? Now this quarter things are a lot better. Now we are told GE is ahead of the game. When will we be proven right? How many successes will we have to endure?

Layoffs, plus attrition, if I understood the investor call correctly. By attrition, I think they mean letting both good and less desirable people walk across all businesses and leaving some of those positions unfilled, thus avoiding paying severance.

@11MWT1jo-1zlu Not if, when. Culp said in the earnings call that they would continue to “right size” power. That’s GE speak for more layoffs. Remember his contract is directly tied to the stock price. I really don’t think he gives a rats a$$ about head count. Like you said, they work, so there will be more.

Leadership is celebrating the Q3 earnings results. Giving each other high fives because layoffs are proven to have worked. Just think, if they layoff more next time they can beat earnings again. Lol

It's nice to hear any positive news, but the the thing that worries me most is the inevitable Market correction that will come in the near future. Will it wipe out any gains now or in the coming months? I tend to thing so. I for one will be holding on to my money until then.
