Yes, the leaders are still giving us the run around. For the most part, there are no jobs postings for people in the US all of the jobs are being outsourced. If you look at the job board, about 80% plus of the job postings are for individuals out of this country. Outsourcing these jobs, laying employees off, its a ripple effect. What does this do for the US economy? They say credit card sales are up, outsourcing and laying people off does not create consumer confidence. I am ready to save all of money and not spend this holiday season because I don't know what is going to happen next. I hear people at work are training their replacements since their jobs have been outsourced.
I believe a BIG reason for the job cuts can be explained in YouTube vid "Alliance Data associates celebrate Inauguration of new office space in Bangalore" – this is where your jobs went. To those making $4 an hour. These are not just technical jobs. These are Compliance, Risk, creative jobs like Copywriter, Mktg. analyst, etc. Note what E.C. says about expansion.

Yes. More to come in Q1. Our leaders held a meeting with those of us that remain in our department and they were choosing their words very carefully. Saying things like "right now we don't anticipate more" or "Melisa doesn't currently foresee more this year".... "But don't want to promise anything" etc
