Dear Colleagues,
Today we celebrate Synamedia’s first birthday. We Are One! I know many of you are taking part in local celebrations hosted by your site leaders. Let’s celebrate today and reflect on all that we have accomplished in our first year of business.
What a year it has been. Exactly one year ago, we announced Synamedia’s separation from Cisco at an event marked with excitement but also a measure of uncertainty.
Since that day, it has been difficult but we have all diligently worked to stand up our business independently, stabilize our business, and renew the trust and confidence of our customers. We have also worked to create a culture of excellence, one that emphasizes innovation, and developed a set of shared values that drive us towards success every day.
As we enter our second year, we are poised to transform our business and our industry and to grow Synamedia to its full potential. This is possible because of the resiliency and dedication each of you bring to work every day, and for that I am most grateful.

Well it doesn’t have a great ring of authenticity about it but they have to say stuff like that. It’s just the usual corporate platitudes. No point being offended by it.
