What do you want him to do? travel between Symantec offices with farewell tour. He is done caring about you , if he ever did care.
Do you mean the guy that is getting paid to screw us all over? The guy is a VC hack, and always will be. His specialty, going into companies that Starboard owns shares in, worming his way onto the board, and then subverting from within. The goal? Getting a salary he doesn't deserve, shares he doesn't deserve, and selling everyone who actually does a real job down the river so that he can make stacks of cash.
The dude is a soul-less worm. Why the hell would we want or care about what he has been up to? He has laughed all the way to the bank and is moving on to his next soul-crushing, job ending project. Truly wish this guy the best.

Vincent and Rick are total clowns, as are the Symantec Board of Directors. After years of failure, they finally realized they were in over their heads and had to find a buyer to take things off their hands.
I predict Rick will push for Vincent to become CEO of RemainCo, as he seems to be grooming him for bigger and better things.
