There was no rhyme or reason for who was selected for layoffs.
For me, it just feels like names were pulled out of a hat.
Total, absolute random process. It feels that way.

I’m not going to say ageism happened, but some people in my department were around 50-60ish years old.
I can say with certainty that my dept saw layoffs of folks that didnt know what they were doing or had titles for the sake of having titles.
Some people who were newer to the company and many who had been with the company for years and had reputations as good partners. Can't figure out how they made the choices on who to cut.
