It is very scary when you see your very own manager just, let go and escorted out of the building. A person whom you know to have been the most loyal dedicated and hard working "for the company" person ever.....who's next?? Me??? I know thiese are financial decisions. The company has to do what is best for the company. I am praying for those let go and for the company as a whole and for those of us still working thru this and nerviously waiting for the next waive to come. It is not a good place to be when you have to question every day, is it going to be me? Is today the day I will be suddenly let go and escorted out?. Stay strong people! I personally LOVE and NEED my job. So I will continue to pray for our company stay positive and give it my all.

They don't care if you love your job, or need your job. Are you making them money? If you're not performing, they will let you go. It's not the Alliance Data of years ago. So sad.
What’s your source on those dates? I hope you’re certain and not instilling fear.
Where is everyone getting this info from?! Mor layoffs then? Guess a feeling or some rumor? Let's not gas up the fire.
I'm so sorry to hear this, and my thoughts go out to everyone who was affected. I was part of a small first wave that was dismissed earlier this year; it confusing because it was handled so poorly by management.
Time to start working on your resume. More layoffs coming 2nd week of december, then more last week of february. If your hard working awesome supervisor wasn't considered valuable enough to keep on, what makes you think you are? I'm sorry, but you're a number, and nothing else. It's easier to accept this, because it empowers you to keep in control of your own life, rather than floating around hoping someone will point you out for being a good employee. They really don't care. And loyalty is a one way street.
