The way the layoffs were done will definitely put all employees on edge wondering if we are going to be next. Always wondering if we should be looking for new work before this happens to us. Off shoring sensitive information is not the best idea in my opinion. Consumers may not be happy if they know that their sensitive data is going oversees. I know I would not like it

Your sensitive data is already overseas and has been for many years, and look, you're fine. I get this is upsetting, but can we stop acting like foreigners are standing in shadows in trench coats? Data breaches and information theft are alive and well in this country too, thieves are not born of certain countries or backgrounds, anyone can be a thief. More so, no one was replaced with the overseas center. Mexico opened up, we still hired for bilingual in the US, India opened and all our collections team is still there and they brought more in. We lost 1 collections person, and that was a sup. Pretty much everyone at my center that was laid off, needed to go. They were horrible. Had one of them tell a g-y employee they were going to he-l, along with recieving multiple other complaints, and he still kept his job after that, another that was let go was lazy, another stopped performing, one of the top dogs that got let go had more than a fair share of her indiscretions. Only about 2 or 3 that were let go here, were worth anything. This is not saying I am happy about the layoffs, it's always sad, and many of them didn't deserve it, but for the love of God, the Ta----n is not going to take all of our jobs, then run a credit card scam ring. I would be more afraid of the white americans at the top, that cut the jobs instead of their salaries.
Suddenly stupid. If, after years of great performance reviews, you’re getting reprimanded for things everyone does, or being nitpicked for things the company didn’t care about before, it’s possible that the company is gearing up for what I call the “suddenly stupid defense.” They’re building a case to get rid of you for poor performance – trying to show a “legitimate reason” other than age for firing you. If you’re being targeted for write-ups when younger employees do the same things and aren’t written up, you may have an age discrimination claim.
Off Shore is working accounts and they do have all of the sensitive information. They are working accounts. You should know this as the rest of us do. Even off shore collections want to give us the full SS when they call in.
Off shore doesn’t handle many accounts! The US associates have to work the account which put more work on us!
