- respectfully request that you exercise your authority to extend the
closed school discharge timeframe and take immediate action to discharge federal student loans
for student borrowers who were enrolled at schools operated by Dream Center Education
Holdings, LLC (“DCEH”).1
As Secretary of Education, you have discretion to relieve the student
borrowers harmed as a result of the extraordinary circumstances outlined in this letter.
