In Healthcare IT News (on 10/3/19) it was announced that Allscripts and Norwell Health will be working together to create what they termed was the next generation electronic health record. Does anyone have and information on which Allscripts offices(s) will be involved in building the new system and when it will start?

So, they're developing this new system with the customer, who is defining the requirements here in the US, and the development staff over in India. Seriously?! They'll have communication problems from the get go due to the time difference, let alone the cultural & language differences. Well, I guess the lower hourly rates of the development staff will make up for it. (Heavy sarcasm here.)
It will be the Pune office and like all Allscripts products will be ineffective, require complicated workflows and cost s fortune for a user license.

Not sure how Allscripts managed to save this client. They were on the brink of leaving like all the others.
