I work for one of the big suppliers, just got word this morning that things might be slowing down and they want to move some of us to other facilities "Temporarily". Doesn't sound good.

Next scheduled WARN date is 10-30. Kinda ironic, the same day the head cheese testifies.

I work at spirit aerosystems we build the fuselage for the max, we currently are building 54units a month. Why would we do this if layoffs are coming to Boeing?

It’s hard to say who will get laid off. UTC says they’ve will keep the 42 rate going into end of 2019. Your guess is as good as mine.

Yup
If you read the 2nd quarter
Dollars in Millions) 2019 2018 Change 2019 2018 Change
Commercial Airplanes Deliveries 90 194 (54)% 239 378 (37)%
Revenues $4,722 13,952 (66)% $16,544 $26,897 (38)%
(Loss)/Earnings from Operations ($4,946) $1,785 NM ($3,773) $3,197 NM
Operating Margin (104.7)% 12.8% NM (22.8)% 11.9% NM

Operation margin -104% lower in 2019 vs. +12.8 in 2018

I'm curious to find out the numbers on the 3rd quarter results on the 23rd

Of course they are not good go ask Kevin McAllister oh wait..........

Layoffs are coming hold on tight, you think they are going to hand out 5g's to all the union workers.
Boeing is drowning underwater, so folks that are working there if you cant see the writing on the wall to be ready or your just as blind as Kevin when he got B*** slapped.
