Funny, just saw a blog where SB was the exciting end of event key note. Really. This guy has s—ed the industry and TDC dry. As a former double digit teammate, if that’s the best you got, good luck. SB has not had a good idea in 20 years.

I started with Teradata back in 2004. Good company then. As time went by, I actually laid off the guy that hired me. That was around three years ago. I was promoted to a VP after that and then got laid off too. I doubt another round of layoffs will save this company.

Correct, the CHRO is developing a plan to reduce VP's & SVP's. They are also going to deliver a voluntary buyout program at SD's and above. Fact of the matter is the revenue hasn't grown but the executive core has.

What is HR going to do. Lay me off again. They are not human resource.. more like hidden resource and OR pets

I love hearing that HR is more concerned about us on this blog then their own employees that they have to monitor to make sure if somthing is said that negatively impact them, but is still true, that they have to flood this site with garbage.

I happen to know that HR monitors this site to see what’s leaked. But now they are being proactive in finding ways to control the narrative. Should make people wonder why they would be so involved in this activity. Think about what would happen if they were focused on improving the culture. Heard they are meeting to talk about executive packages. ‘‘Tis the season so people shouldn’t be surprised.

For each high value customer there are likely 5 no value curtain hangers - pretty typical for Teradata.@

It would appear that Molly is Marketing and the LT’s d–g of choice when attempting to master another tricky skill, often referred to by grown ups as ‘counting.’

Seasame Street has some pretty decent tutorials that are hosted by a self proclaimed ‘Count.’ I believe that he loves counting so much that it may be worth using him for the next coaching session.

what do you want to see in q3 results. It is not going to be any different than q2. Company is not closing any big deal. Company will be laying off more staff by December.

V=Very Poor Leadership

The sessions today were extremely informative and several of the attendees said they regretted not coming over the last several years because they got so much out of this year already. They mentioned it was well work the travel and expenses.

We also had the opportunity to meet new management and although there is so much more to do, I feel we are in good hands. I can't wait to see what happens next. Bring it on!

Great day today at Teradata Universe. So many new contacts to network. Looking forward to another exciting day for tomorrow. Now it's time to go party at the universe. I thought the attendance was more than last year. It was more like 4-6K people this year. Go TD.

Yeah - you can't believe there are more than 5000 people in the room .... why? Because it isn't true.

Anyone who saw the video shots of the half-filled opening session will immediately see how untrue this post is.

Perhaps it's because the uninspiring opening session lacked energy, enthusiasm, and content ... hmmm?

Getting rid of your entire backbone of what makes TD operate successfully, yeah great strategy

Well great sessions. every room is packed with people. I was hoping they would had more seats for people to sit.

Not sure what is snow flake doing here. I guess they want to learn also how TD is so successful company...

By 'here' you must mean the city of Denver, right? There certainly are not 5k+ people in the convention center right now.

Also, what does Molly have anything to do with this?
