The rumors are that to improve year end financials (as pledged), Cerner is once again planning layoffs in November/December. Has anyone else heard this? Working here is becoming emotionally exhausting and demoralizing.

130 layoffs, 65 in KC. Nothing communicated to us, but last time this happened it was 2 days after the news reported it before management said anything. All we were told last time was that it didn't affect us, otherwise we would have been contacted.
If there are more layoffs happening at Cerner, it isn't being reported in company email or announcements. I've only heard rumors of more layoffs since the 255 but nothing official. Certainly we'd hear about 130 more being cut.
yepp a few layoffs have happened at my office in San Diego this month and everyone at work has been so stressed.

Unless you heard it from someone in management, then its fearmongering.
