I can't find any official word on it but I'm having trouble believing somebody would make up such a cruel lie just to stress us out unnecessarily. Is there any way to confirm if people were notified yesterday or not?
Either way, this is not helping calm my nerves...
I worked for Rockwell, then Boeing bought them....i got laid off 4 times, but 11 days before my 10 years, guess what they did..............now after retiring from an Airlines with 20 yrs, guess who wants me to come work for them,
And yes they will layoff out the back door while hiring in the front door! With that environment, the oldtimmers really are sick, rather sick and twisted by the time they outlive a layoff or 2.
Whether or not there were Jeppesen layoffs does not prove or disprove that there were layoffs in Washington. I was posting based on my and my former coworkers’ experience. In another thread, someone questioned whether my post was factual.
I wouldn’t have even found this forum if I wasn’t searching for information.
There will be no layoffs, not even a temporary shutdown. Boeing needs people more than ever now in last 25 years, so if you worried about layoff relax , not happening, if you are one who wants a layoff sorry to shatter your daydreaming. You are not getting a VLO.

There were layoffs at Jeppesen (a Boeing division) this week. I am a former Jeppesen employee who was laid off in April.
No there weren't. It's just old timers trying to f— with you because they've been at Boeing so long their dead on the inside.
