Change IS the law of life. No question about it. But everyone knows that. If you've lived more than a dozen years in this world then you know it. This is nothing new. It has always been that way and always will be. I don't think that anyone is stupid enough to think that everything remains static, especially at ADP, where there has always been plenty of change. ADPers have always had to be resilient and roll with the changes for quite a few decades. ADPers are masters of change. They have to be to survive at that wacky company.
That's the point I think the OP meant exactly. Some never see change coming. But, it comes.
And to those who see it coming, at least they have the chance to duck, unlike Kennedy.

Yes, OP. What is your point? Clear and concise communication is the key. Do you have this key? Apparently not.
The way that I interpret this is that it is the laid off person's fault for being laid off and without a job. Meanwhile, ADP remains blameless and pure and this communication is a distraction from this company's serious problems.
