In reality it doesn't guarantee you will have a job. Start looking for a new job. Unless you’re in the Draper office.

Start looking before the job market floods. I have an offer and know because I'm in a BD role that I will be a Day 1 Rif. No problem I take the severance, a little break and go to work for my new employer, DONE!

Sooner or later, you will be forced to leave by HOOK or CROOK.
If you don't like to be underpaid and to overwork, BC is not a good choice for you wherever you are. Do or Die, they can find cheap workers in Asia and nobody cares like our current company culture!
If you have friends in CA Tech. , consult their experience, it will be same aXe with different type style.
