Haven’t been to the Renton store in a month or two. Went today and the place was a ghost town. Entire aisles were empty. I almost teared up. My random trips to Fry’s we’re always a little stress releasing adventure. Hope it isn’t as bad as it looks.

Shell shocked after going into Renton Fry's on 9/21/19. Even the c-appiest of products are MIA. I sincerely doubt that this store can even stay open until Christmas 2019. Retail apocalypse 101, but there's not even enough merchandise for a liquidation company. Maybe that's the strategy, why hire a liquidator when you can wind down the stores with minimal employees.
It's so bad in there now. First noticed about 6 months ago when I went to get a power supply for a PC build and was surprised they only had 4 or 5 models in stock (when they normally would have had dozens or more)
Fast forward to now and the shelves are all empty. Even the rows of the 'real' electronics like the resistors/capacitors, etc are bare when previously there were 10's of thousands of items in those isles. I think the last time I was in there they had no PC hardware left at all. no cases, peripherals, MB's, maybe a couple of 120mm fans and that was it.
