Um, the current situation has all the earmarks of Elliott MGMT. Face it folks, we are in the early stages of a liquidation for the benefit of our favorite activist investor.

Wish granted. Now for my next trick...staff reductions over the next 4-5 weeks.
If you look into Elliot, you will realise you are trading one overlord for another. Elliot is only interested in one thing: maximizing their investment, by any means. Those any means usually revolve around piling on crushing debt, stripping and selling bits of a company, and staff reductions that would make any dictator proud. Elliot is a Private Equity firm, and they treat their victims (Read as acquisitions) the same way Uncle Joe Stalin or Chairman Mao did their loyal subjects.
TV will retire soon, and he was DH's last whipping post. I'm glad I'm gone!
