Bonus for transferred employees post close

It was confirmed yesterday that employees moving to Broadcom would receive a bonus post close. It's 75% Pro Rata.

Might anyone know, particularly Broadcom staff, how that is calculated. Is it for example, 75% of say 20% of annual wage or 10% of annual wage.

All Symantec Employee's who receive AIP every year will be eligible for the payout at close. It won't matter if you are going to Broadcom or parts unknown.

@pog - I missed the last call. As I said, won't say "no" to free money (implying I even get on board ahahaha). Thanks for clarifying.

But is it to all employees moving over?

It's AIP and it's Symantec doing the paying. Listen to Art's call.

Isn't aip paid at the end of fiscal year?
Broadcom has fiscal year ending much later than Symantec (I think Art mentioned that at one of first two all hands), so there is no reason for it to be aip unless Broadcom just wants to give out free money (which is welcome whether you are staying or not).

Ok, thank you. As most sales engineers don't receive AIP, But receive 20% of their package as commission paid in % each month, presumably they'll get zilch post close in respect of a bonus.

It’s Symantec AIP, nothing to do with Broadcom.
