It will be announced in the incoming weeks, apparently EMEA support will be likely moved to Prague (CZ), severance package is expected for its employees, can't tell much more right now

Prague Broadcom employee here: Broadcom has a full empty floor with, for which it pays rent. But it's kept empty, as I said. I was a bit baffled so I asked around, basically "why pay for this huge space and, then, not use it?" The unofficial, cryptic reply was "there will be some upcoming acquisitions and more colleagues joining". This was in June, I think, in any case before the news of the Symantec acquisition. Please, keep in mind: I have absolutely zero info about the Symantec Warsaw office, I'm just stating a fact from the "other side of the fence".
Whoever made this thread is a brainlet and has a small pe–s(and balls).
- Prague office is closed already, Bc has other offices in Prague.
- Warsaw office supports all core products across an entire timezone. It will be the stupidest idea ever to shut it down and move to supposedly India or Czechia, and very economically inefficient.
- Most of the personal in Warsaw office will get either a transitional contract or a full time contract. Don't forget that supporting small amount of premium customers takes more effort than lots of small customers (there is a reason for TAM positions to exist). While there is no guarantee that everyone stays on good terms (no one can guarantee that lmao), the office itself will stay one hundred percent. So stop talking out of your a– and sowing panic.
Dude, Symantec's office in Prague was very small and was closed...
Unless you mean a new office or Broadcom's office it makes no sense
Prague CZ closed and people were let go long time ago....
Yeah, that's why Prague located engineers were offered relocation to Warsaw or severance when they closed that 15 person office. That's smart huh? Just pull a funny joke?
Come on people, I understand you probably have those 2 neurons hitting each other violently, but get this :
"You look smarter when you shut up"
This Prague that was closed?
