Looks like Ireland is next on SS hitlist for outsourcing, would you stick it out for the redundancy or run for the hills?

Well the Belfast office sounds like it was shut down entirely?
But i assume you mean dublin, drogheda, naas and kilkenny. Nothing major happened so far but then again all those offices have been haemorrhaging people for the last few years between targeted redundancies (never announced, so there maybe have been 1 or 2 of those this week) and 'natural attrition' as they say. WIth regards to this year, plenty of this action all year but always in small numbers.
So headcount in ireland has gone down a lot anyway over time with work moved to poland and india.
Ireland is mainly business side but there are a some tech teams that could be exposed if there is a move to trim IT numbers.
Makes sense though perhaps Paris first? Where have they done so far this year in EMEA outside of London and Lux? Were there any redundancies in Ireland on Thursday? I heard of people being walked in London out but the powers that be denied today that anyone was walked this week. What have previous redundancy packages in Ireland looked like?
Stick it out but be actively looking for employment outside of SS. Last thing you want to do is be left high and dry with no other option.
