I enjoyed working for this company, but I think we can all agree that I has become an ill environment in which none of us are safe, which results with many of us turning on each other. I believe most of us got it through our heads now, that working overtime, weekends, giving everything you have to the company wasn’t enough and think that the only way to survive is to compete against our colleagues The sad thing is that the leadership is aware of that and encourages this behavior.
I know that times are tough. Layoffs are lurking around every corner, but don’t think for a second that playing the hunger games with your coworkers will make your job safer in any way, nor that it will do anything more than bring a further demise of morale and culture.
