Good post @smr - true
2U offers a high-energy work environment that’s both challenging and fun. We work hard, but our offices are casual and social places. We wear jeans to work and fuel brainstorming sessions with snacks and seltzer.
It just seems as though some of these posts on this forum are literally dragging the previous managers through the mud. They seem orchestrated. Ppl involved with the company knew the shortcomings, so there’s no need to beat a dead horse about how bad the previous managers were. In fact, there were some decent managers that were laid off. It’s extremely unfair to paint a picture that “ALL” the managers that were laid off were “bad seeds.” It’s ok for the people who remain in the company to vent their frustrations and okay for previous managers to do the same.
Because the problem of bad managers start with bad managers lol! It’s a cycle. Several Inc 500 companies have manager development programs and they still have bad managers. So, I just question any post that bashes previous leadership. It’s unkind, unprofessional, and lame.
what do you mean?
