Several Sr. folks in LWR Infinite/cDVR engineering from the old SA crew were offered "Early Retirement" packages. Although it was "optional", my understanding is that all of them accepted. What does that tell you about their faith in the product and company? At least they were paid out per Cisco guidelines, so they fared well. Other groups in LWR started LRs this week 9/9/19. And yes, expect there are more to come by the end of the month.

A post from nearly a year ago about Synamedia eventually having headcount of 20% of where it started selling legacy c-ap was right on.
Imagine that it's been nearly a year since the spinout from Cisco. Here we are still getting the Exec team in place, there is no strategy, no plan, company meetings are essentially an cry session of how Cisco didn't shoot straight with them, TSAs are eating profits, sale forecasts weren't accurate, etc etc. Fast forward a year from now, there will have been more layoffs and still no strategy. They've pinned their hopes on cdvr and its a failing product. Those LWR folks recently let go were probably the lucky ones in restrospect.
