Just as the title states; i'm curious to know if folks have already received STAY or TRANSITION offers from Broadcom.

You'll get an offer maybe a week to 5 days before acq. close. Some of the med to higher level folks know now but everyone else will know at the acq. close date.
I can't disclose the details of my severance package but can say that it includes the words "Jessica" and "Alba".
Why do you downvote those jokers? It is perfectly normal to make fun of people who cannot comprehend 1. Waiting and 2. Preparation for the worst. You can lose your sleep, and then your job, or you can start doing interviews / contingency plans, and making sure you are not left in a worst possible scenario. You can't influence the final decision anyway, so instead of whining just take care of yourself, as no one else will. Sadly, we live in a sissified society, with manbabies who think someone else will take care of their problems.
I received a fat severance package, an all payed expenses cruise to Fiji with my +1, company car & I've always enjoyed a privileged position in the company.

@-tms Art already said he received his offer from Broadcom, but he asked them to make changes to his severance package (i.e. exit clause) before he accepted the new position as GM/VP of Symantec (i.e. Broadcom subsidiary). He mentioned that he wanted them to retain Symantec's severance policy during his employment at Broadcom in the event he is threatened by separation. I feel like no one is paying close attention to what has been said and what was said today. Even though Art didn't say much today, he let out a few nuggets of details that we should be paying attention to. I guess if you are in a product group and are responsible for SEP/DLP/WSS/ProxySG/ESS/etc., you probably don't care nor pay attention even though all the other folks you work and coordinate projects with are going to be impacted.
What makes you think they will start giving out individual offer so soon. Everyone will get offer in like 2 days, around 21st oct.
Yes, I received an offer of an all inclusive holiday for two including bed and breakfast and $500 spending money.
