The "B" is a great company to work for. Layoffs are a way of life or business. When it is good it is a great place to work. When things go south the layoffs come. Senior employees understand the way of life at Boeing. The best strategy is position yourself financially where you are set up for layoffs now or in the future. If you don't get laid off all the better. Be the best employee you can be and perform well and hopefully you will not be laid off. If you pay your bills ahead and are frugal live below your means and utilize (Dave Ramsey) techniques you will survive the up's and downs. Hopefully things will stabilize soon for Boeing and there will be no need to cost cut or layoff employees. The goal is to get the MAX fixed and move forward. Take charge of your life and prepare for hard times and you will be ok.

The Boeing Company always has the ups and downs. so sad for everyone who works at the company. If you choose to work at the company it is best to plan for the down turns.
Seriously, Dave Ramsey? How about Boeing just not run a sh–ty model of hiring and firing because of mistakes THEY made?
