So much for 18 months of coverage, even though former employees pay 101% of the premium. They attached it to the old defunct company "GUE Liquidation" (FTD+1, how terribly clever) and are therefore cancelling coverage. Got the email today telling me I should sign up for something else before September 15th to ensure October 1 coverage. Really appreciate the advance notice Mr EVP, CFO. 2 whole business days. Golly, what will I do with all the extra time?
I'm impressed how they keep finding ways to make me regret my time there. I'm not even angry, just so sad they squandered away something with such potential and history.

Wait, they fave 2 days to find new coverage?
Anyone from pre or post-bankruptcy version of FTD get a job offer letter that only gave 2 days to accept before the offer expired? Rather curious, especially post-bankruptcy. Has this been a company norm? Do chime in. Wondering if these are typos or they seriously give only two days to make major decisions?
You mean FTD execs bait and switched to screw their employees?? This is my surprised face.
Screwed again ! Two days to find coverage - thanks for nothing FTD.
i am sorry to hear that! But you will see, you will be way better off and happier outside of FTD. The company is left for dead, they sold off all of their businesses. The name and brand has been tarnished and destroyed after so many years of neglect to the main core of the business, the retail florist. The human resource department is a joke, the management is corrupt, its one of the worst places you can work. I hope you find your next career opportunity!
