Does $6-7k loss qualify for CoC?

Has anyone known anyone who actually got the CoC? Seems like it's a farce and your going to get denied anyway

Unfortunately, the only people determining what constitutes “good reason” is a committed of only Oxy people. They were asked to put an APC person on the committee and they refused so beware if you declare good reason you are basically submitting your resignation with no money.

It is early to request COC when it is not clear what you are supposed to do moving forward. The $6-7K depending on your total compensation maybe significant maybe not. The language is materially adverse, but again a 5% maybe nothing for someone and 1% maybe "good reason" for another.

At the end all of this depends how much one is willing to play along and where is the line on the sand, which is an individual choice but also needs to be grounded to the COC text.

Likely the higher ups have already taken COC as they are eliminated. Employees will first need to figure out their job role before a COC discussion comes into play.

Don’t forget, it was our management that wrote the COC and the definition of “good reason”, not our new masters at Oxy. if anyone is to blame it’s Al and company.

The “good reason” in the COC, as outlined by OXY, seems like losing proposition for Anadarko employees. Not only are you resigning when you request it they will most likely deny you.

It is and you will. Does anyone actually believe a company which is designed to maximize profits for shareholders is going to willingly dole out cash to employees it’s about to fire? One of the biggest lies of the corporate word is “our people are our greatest asset.” If that’s true then why don’t they show up on the balance sheet? Because employees are like cattle.
