APC at least knew how to do a takeover. They came in and bumped everyone's pay 10% and said get to work and we did. Nobody was disgruntled and we took care of business. This OXY stuff just has everyone dusting off the Rolodex and calling old flings to see if they are up for a good time.

All I can say is where I worked we pretty much got took over by Anadarko management from CEO down to the 12 VP he brought over from Anadarko. And as you can see I am on a web site called the lay off . So I don’t think if I was a Anadarko employee I would be b–ching about being bought by Oxy, If this creep was like the rest of the Anadarko management god help that place.
Its good for them. Provides opportunities for the younger talent to replace the useless suits.
I feel so sorry for "Legacy Anadarko" the VSP basically screws all employees under 39 leaving them with no leadership and having to help carve up and ship out all the pieces of Anadarko... Good luck 👍
