Do Broadcom software sales reps or sales engineers work from Broomfield CO office? I am at Symantec, and want to see if I would have to move if offered a job.

I would be very concerned if I were part of Symantec sales. The CA acquisition brought in a huge sales force. Symantec sales to the same customer base so I would expect a ton of “two in the box” situations which will quickly become “one in the box” quickly.
That should not be your main worry right now. If you are in sales, there is a 80%+ chance that you will not have a job. So find a job. If you get an offer from Broadcom, chose between the two. If you decide to stay with BRCM, then even though you may be assigned to Broomfield, you going there daily is likely not a must - that should be a secondary concern IMHO.
