Like most of you, I sat in quiet contemplation for months as the bidding war took place, choosing to trust in the logic of our would be suitors. But now that the dust is starting to settle, it’s clear to see that there is no logic, there is no process, nothing or no one to place your hope in. The blind leading the blind. Spare us your platitudes Oxy, tell us the truth that you have no idea what you got yourself (and us) into.
I envy those over 40 who get to walk away from this disaster.

Couldn’t agree more, I was ecstatic to find out I’ll be leaving this dumpster fire. However I do feel for those left to put it back together. I still can’t understand why they are going to pay for so much experience to leave but I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth and all that.

It’s always been about GREED - really that simple. And when you’re blinded by greed, nothing else (or anyone else) really matters.
In a way, this is a Ponzi Scheme - the guys upstairs along w their close Banker & golfing buddies are gambling - with hopes cashing out in spectacular fashion - before the House crumbles. And we’ve been fool enough to trust them - what a mistake.
