The recent force reduction is due to US-China trade war, key smartphone OEM volume decline, etc which impacted many companies and not Skyworks only.

I was told that the next round of layoffs is scheduled for the first week in October. Not sure who these clowns can layoff as we are running so thin in Woburn, that we are now doubling the fake yield numbers to keep the doors open. God help us all.
We were told that the recent layoffs were they laid off 15% of employees in Woburn mass was due to poor sales. Although none of the sales people lost their jobs it was engineers management and factory workers. Would it make more sense to get rid of the sales people that are doing their jobs and keep the ones that are doing their’s.
The lay off at Skyworks Solutions in Woburn Ma is directly related to very poor management, period. Ask anyone wjo worked there in the past years and you will get the same answer. Most operatores make 35k, supervisors, 70k, engineers 100k, sales 150k, upper managers 400k.
Irvine will see more once a few people return from PTO.
Company has been in decline long before any trade wars. Stock is going to take a hit, can't imagine it will ever return to$100.
San Jose lay-off too.
Skyworks should lay off anyone who voted for 45! He’s running this country just like he’s run all his businesses, into the dirt!
5% cut company wide
Quite a few let go in Newbury Park yesterday and today from Operations and Business Units.
