I truly feel for everyone single person that is being affected by this PSR b—s—. But to be honest I quit UP 6 months ago as a Foreman, left the railroad industry entirely and have not looked back since! No coachings, no maps, no being bumped around from shift to shift with weird days off and never seeing my family. The railroad isn't what it used to be. Everyone that eventually leaves will find a place that is better and that appreciates you more, trust me. Good luck!

Enron Pacific is a sh– show under Lance. Few companies can say employee morale and customer satisfaction are lower than they currently are at UP. But the stock price is high, because it’s a near-monopoly and debt buys back shares, so no leadership points for Lance.
Maybe he just wanted to post something positive, that being layed off isn't the end of the world. Good greif...
@VQK, And you’re on a lay-off site with the rest of us so what’s your point?
The railroad is definitely not what it used to be. It never was a rose garden, but now it’s turned into a two ton pile of a–.
