I don't care about management, we all know how well this will work for them, but what about the rest of us at Oxy? Any chances this actually turns out to be a good thing for us?

VH’s arrogance and stubbornness has seriously hurt a once great company, and brought down many of the people of Anadarko with us. Anadarko’s shareholders and execs are the only ones who benefitted, but VH and our execs will still come out great. The rest of us are all screwed.
Loving every minute of this. I cant think of a company or people that deserve this more. Sun is shining here in Dallas - payday Thursday.
And just look at today. Oil up big. Natural gas up. ALL our peers are up, some big time. And our stock is down more than 1%. The market hates us. That’s real encouraging.
Agreed. Morale is at an all time low around here.
Nope; just take a look at the stock price. I've lost so much it hurts, and I cannot say that I'm excited about the future. Sure, we have world class assets, but at what cost? And this mood is palpable. I wish Chevron had ended up with Anadarko instead.
At least those of us who survive layoffs.
