Are the layoffs from last week done or are there more coming this week?

This is happening now. Supervisors/Managers are currently being let go. Everyone else scheduled to be let go will be let go during the freeze end of FEB. Start applying now.

One person being let go in law isn’t the same thing as “layoffs are happening and they just hit law”

How many were chopped based on performance base?

“Performance based” is largely bull sh– at this point. All the problem children were culled long ago. The execs have mandated a reduction in headcount without the commensurate fallout (severance packages, bad press) of a RIF. Every tiny mistake will be judged as “poor performance “ if you’re on the list. This has been the case with several recent “performance based” firings that I know of personally - their direct managers were satisfied with their performance, but execs a couple of levels up decided to make some “performance based” changes.
