Broadcom Comp plans for sales?

Does anyone know what sales people (Account Managers and Sales Engineers) can expect from Broadcom in terms of compensation packages?

I keep reading about bonus and RSU’s so does that mean the Broadcom Sales teams don’t have a commission based variable in their compensation?

I heard that they have commission plans and RSUs.

Broadcom does have commission and RSU plans for sales and presales. The commission plan is a regional team target and team attainment, with OTE based on what was in place prior to acquisition. There is upside and downside in the commission plan.

Broadcom does have commission plans, all sales and presales are on commission plans plus RSU’s.

If that’s the case, I am taking my opportunities elsewhere. There is no reason to stay.

If that is the case, honestly that s—s. Most of us get into Sales to be paid on our local or regional team performance with the goal to blow out our numbers and make accelerated commission. Sounds like the bonus plan locks you into a ceiling of what you can earn.

In CA the individual commission plans were taken away. It’s all team based bonuses.
