Read the welcome packet for 'You are Oxy'. Most of it was the same information in the emails. What was new was the Service Credit information. Legacy Anadarko employees will receive credit for service for all benefits EXCEPT retiree medical. Some of the 55+ employees were set to receive a yearly stipend to pay for retiree medical premiums. Not sure if that will happen now. No panic yet - let's see what the VSP will include. Not having insurance could make those that were planning to leave, stay for the insurance.

Not worth orth staying
on another note - we have APC retirees that are getting the retiree medical subsidy. They do not have the option of taking a package that could pay for insurance since they already retired. They depend on the benefit that helps pay for their insurance. Is all that gone?? When will they know??
I'm in that spot myself. Hope oxy does right by us but I'm not optimistic.
