Can't imaging what next quarter announcement is going to look like.

8eur - I dont even know what you are trying to say here.....It was the opposite. It was India at all costs and the excuse was they were better. They werent...they were cheaper. This is easily proven by the decline in quality of hardware, firmware AND software resulting in loss of sales and market share and negative impact to the brand. We are no longer an innovator and cant even release ANY product on time much less a good one thats stable and people want to use.
In my opinion the most wrong decision was in making only all employment development plant in the respect "America First" and not who is performing the best for the company. Very Good talents were asked to be leaving the company to keep the poor guys in the US. It is like a slogan from the credit card companies, "you get what you pay for". So, you pay less to more people, you still get less if you py our talents and not ask them to leave. Sorry this is the wrong company strategy.
The fish smells from the top and not from the bottom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally agree. They need to clean house from the top down. Especially in the engineering area. Outsourcing to the cheapest developers doesn't make you better and moving some of these cheap developers to Austin doesn't change the fact they are third or fourth rate developers. Hiring game developers doest mean you hired talent in this space either. Maybe a slack channel #HireSomeRealTalentBeforeItsTooLate would help.
The fact that this company has lost half of it's value in less than a year should be more than a little concerning to shareholders. The senior leaders in the business don't appear to be accountable. There should be changes made to the leadership that was here when it was failing under HW and have continued to drive it in the wrong direction. It's ridiculous what they are being paid to perform as poorly as they are. I think all of us expected more out of our new CEO, but instead he seems content to listen to the people that put us in this position to begin with.
7iou - agree, it is sad. We thought things could only get better with Honeywell out of the picture but its actually worse with the current "leadership". Some really bad times are coming....
Sad to see what happened to Ademco/ADI, Honeywell s—ed every asset out of that company among others and forced it to swallow the "global" Kool-aid, destroying what was once an innovative leader in the industry. HW will see it's own demise eventually, they became way to big for their britches.
Everyone needs to get out ASAP...Seriously. The speed of the demise is breath taking and the level of incompetence and lack of action is truly something that should be studied in business school and tech courses under "what not to do"
Actually I think our hopes and the loyalty to this company spiraling down much faster
