Are all the Art Institutes Not-for-Profit now?

vitriol? yes...
Because teaching for free is volunteering!
And lying about pay to get teachers to teach for free is worth all the vitriol in response.
All this vertriol on AiLV. The staff and faculty chose to support the transition, if they worked for free or went without benefits, that was on them. They could have moved on like all the other laid off faculty and staffers. It would be closed like so other campuses. It still might. They are not a part of the remaining SACs accredited campuses. They will either get accreditation and reopen as a new college or it will close as well. They have no financial support form EPF and Studio. Stop complaining. Quite honestly it will be amazing if any campuses stay open. They have had no real departmental budgets in years after DCEH and the end of EDMC. Many campuses struggling to stay alive. Circling the drain.
AiLV is NOT a part of the 8 non-profit Ai's
It's not even going to be called AiLV!
Are you speaking of AiLV, which is NOT a not-for-profit but very much trying to be a FOR-profit school...
Yes what? Are you saying yes they are running more smoothly? If that is the case then you are obviously one of the three so called wanna be owners running it into the ground. Students graduating last quarter and now teaching is not running more smoothly. Not paying staff and faculty since April is not running more smoothly. Students who should be getting financial aid but instead have balances on their accounts is NOT running more smoothly. And losing 75% of the student population since these guys have been trying to steal the school is NOT running more smoothly. Most of the Previous full time staff and most of the faculty have quit since February so again, not running more smoothly.
Whatever their "branding", they will still be a FOR-profit school... if they can get accredited 😅
the new AILV will not be part of the Art Institutes remaining. They are going independent and will rebrand according to news reports.
the New AiLV is and will be a FOR profit school...
For benefit = for profit
Are they running more smoothly than before?
yes
