Does Walgreens even know what type of company they want to be? They focus on beauty/cosmetics more now and are changing the inside of some stores to reflect that. But then they also want to be a FedEx location and it seems like they don't want to be an actual store anymore.

Everyone should leave walgreens now and get a different job...maybe Amazon. Dint let this ruch leadership group s— the life out of you. I stead...s— the money out of them and everyone leave at once!
FedEx and Western Union are two of many bad decisions this company has made. What are they thinking? They cut employee hours down so far that the photo department can no longer be staffed, but yet they add more work for the photo department. The management team is expected to pick up this slack on top of their other duties which they keep piling on. I have worked for this company for over two decades and I have never seen morale this low. Every one is so tired they drag themselves out the door at the end of their shift each day.
No, they don't want to be single entity d–g store anymore because they are inept at doing so. They now want many difference services in a store to attract more shoppers.
Corporate is frantically latching on to other ways THEY THINK will increase customer traffic.
LabCorp? Seriously Pessina? "Honey, let's drop off our urine sample at Walgreens today". How many times in a decade does one have to go to a lab?
Optical depts? That will drive in shoppers? Walgreens is REALLY going to capitalize on that little niche of the market as well, right? How about NO.
FedEx? I know MY days, weeks, months aren't complete unless I use FedEx in some way. Truly a brilliant service to make people flock to Walgreens.
Birchbox? Are you kidding me? A top tier cosmetic company if I've ever heard of one. How's this "service" working out?
Kroeger? Brilliant! Grocery store food isn't available anywhere on Earth but in these Walgreens stores now. Nice indeed!
5 new services to attract more foot traffic. These are corporate's best ideas. And we wonder why their stock price is at a 6 year low.
Add to all this their lack of labor dollars, their lies to employees, their criminal lawsuits, their lack of store upkeep and prices that are exorbitant.
I work in beauty department and it doing bad. Why? They dont want compete with other stores when it come to prices and having products that are in demand. We lost alot of customer to Target, Sephora, and Amazon because its all about be convenience. Birchbox was a joke. They keep making bad investments.
There is also a huge decrease in day time work hours coming soon too, I hope you aren't affected by them, I work overnight shift in Norman, OK. This cut in hours won't affect me, but will affect most on day shift at my store.
