Give it some time, they're still scheming up ways to get rid of you, but without your COC.

Some granularity may be in order. OXY seems to a somewhat bloated organization. Organization should have been reduced 50 percent long time ago prior to Anadarko purchase.
OXY:
Production: 0.7 MMBOEPD (2018 Annual Report)
Employees: 11,000 (including 3,000 OXYChem)
Anadarko:
Production: 0.7 MMBOEPD (2018 Annual Report)
Employees: 4,700 (seems OXY organization is bloated)
For comparison:
ConocoPhillips:
Production: 1.3 MMBOED (2018 Annual Report)
Employees: 10,900 (seems OXY organization is bloated)
Just ride the elevator. People have big mouths.
The accountants, lawyers and HR List-makers have been busy.
@10rDwLcj-dnp - you failed to mention that Oxy has 3,000 employees in OxyChem which is equivalent to Phillips 66 which has its own employees in addition to ConocoPhilips - so the production MMBOE vs. # employees comparison is not comparable.
And yet, Oxy is running ads supposedly for hiring new employees, and a job fair in DFW area....
FYI,
The OXY-Anadarko combined work force is approximately: 15,000 employees
The OXY-Anadarko combined net production is approximately: 1.4 MMBOEPD
For comparison:
ConocoPhillips net production is approximately: 1.3 MMBOEPD
ConocoPhillips workforce is approximately: 10,900 employees
Get the picture? Looking at 1/3 reduction in the OXY-Anadarko combined workforce
Where? We haven’t seen a single person be laid off due to the OXY takeover.
Some layoffs are already occurring besides VP's today.
